Cobra has launched a range of
value added products which allow manufacturers to enhance their
offering to Motability customers.
ParkMaster Parking Sensors, a
hands free Bluetooth system, the CobraTrak GPS Stolen Vehicle
Tracking device and a Cruise Control system are all available as
plug and play products developed specifically with the Motability
customer in mind.
All four products are OEM
approved and offer a warranty that mirrors the manufacturer's
warranty.
Visually all products reflect
factory fitted options and can be installed by a national network
of Cobra approved fitters. Cobra also offers a full marketing and
installation service to support dealers, the manufacturer's
production facility or port of entry.
"We have developed these
products to help manufacturers enhance their product offering to
the Motability market sector," explained Cobra's UK Managing
Director Andrew Smith.
"All products have been
developed to fit cars and light commercials, including wheelchair
accessible vehicles and offer a point of differentiation for
manufacturers as well as an additional revenue opportunity," he
added.
Cobra currently supplies
products to 26 car brands in the UK.

ParkMaster parking
sensors:
A range of OEM approved 2 and 4 eye sensors that reflect a
factory fitted option that provides vehicle protection and driver
assistance.
Bluetooth Hands Free
Communication:
A plug and play installed system which gives a factory
fitted appearance and can support up to 5 Bluetooth enabled mobile
phones. Voice dialling is a standard feature.
CobraTrak Stolen
Vehicle Recovery
: A Thatcham TQA and OEM approved system which has GPS
and GSM tracking ability. Vehicles stolen that are fitted with this
system are typically recovered within 41 minutes of being reported
missing. This is particularly relevant for Wheelchair Adapted
Vehicles where lead times for new cars can stretch into
months.
Cruise
Control:
An OEM approved, factory appearance, digital plug and
play system that is also available as a Maximum Speed
Limiter.
